Goody Kids Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

Goody Kids (“Goody Kids”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an offline learning application for children. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, where it is stored, and how it is used.

Summary

Goody Kids is designed to work offline. The current version does not require an account, does not send profile or learning data to our servers, and does not use analytics, advertising, or online tracking services.

Information stored on the device

If a parent or child chooses to create a profile, the app may store the following locally on the device:

This information is used only to personalize the app, display progress, personalize the bedtime story and apply local settings. It is not uploaded by Goody Kids in the current version.

Photos and artwork

When a user selects a picture for a profile or drawing background, Android’s standard photo picker or gallery selection is used. The app accesses the selected picture only for the requested feature. Artwork and tracing worksheets saved by the user are written to the device gallery at the user’s request.

Text-to-Speech

Story narration and pronunciation use Android’s Text-to-Speech service on the device. Goody Kids sends text to the installed Android TTS engine so it can speak the text. The availability, processing and privacy practices of that engine are controlled by Android and the device manufacturer.

Information we do not collect

Children’s privacy

Goody Kids is intended for children and families. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information online. Profile and learning information is designed to remain locally on the device. Parents or guardians should supervise device use and avoid entering sensitive information into the profile.

Data deletion

You can edit the child profile at any time. To remove local app data, use Android Settings → Apps → Goody Kids → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app. Saved images exported to the device gallery must be deleted separately from the gallery application.

Security

Local data is protected by the device’s normal application storage and Android security model. No method of storage is completely secure, so we recommend using a device lock and keeping Android updated.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when app behavior changes. The latest version will be included with the app or published on the privacy-policy webpage linked from Google Play.
